5 Seconds of Summer to release album and return to Sweden in spring 2026!

Australian pop sensation 5 Seconds of Summer announced today that they will embark on an extensive tour in 2026 and on Saturday, April 18, the band will return to Sweden for a long-awaited gig at Hovet in Stockholm. The tour follows their upcoming sixth album EVERYONE’S A STAR, which will be released this fall.

More about 5 Seconds of Summer

Since forming in 2011 in Sydney, 5 Seconds of Summer has grown from a group of high school friends to one of the most popular bands of the 21st century. During their fourteen years together, the multi-platinum group has sold over 18 million albums, sold more than six million concert tickets worldwide, generated over 10 billion streams and had three albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200. They have also been honored multiple times at the ARIA Awards, MTV EMAs, MTV VMAs and other prestigious galas.

Known for their genre-crossing collaborations and worldwide tours, the quartet, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin, continue to redefine what a modern band can be.

With their highly anticipated sixth album EVERYONE’S A STAR, their first under Republic Records, 5 Seconds of Summer embark on their most ambitious era yet, led by the powerful singles “NOT OK” and “Boyband”.
